Pic Collage Letter of the Week Posters

We have been learning to use the iPad app, Pic Collage to create a poster of our Letter of the Week. We had some big buddies from Room 1 come and teach us how to take photos and put them into PicCollage. Once we get more independent, we will be able to do this by ourselves at reading time. 

Fruit Kebabs

Today we made fruit kebabs. It was lovely to share our brain food with each other. Mrs Fritchley chopped up the fruit to share. We counted on as we put the fruit onto the kebab sticks. Some of the children made a pattern with their fruit.

Caritas Bread Day

On Friday it was Caritas Bread day today and St Mary's school raised over $400 dollars to send to the people in Cambodia.  For lunch we only had bread and a drink of water. Mrs Fritchley was very proud of us because no one moaned about how hungry they were. Delilah and Oscar's mum lent us her bread maker. We measured the ingredients and watched as the machine kneaded the bread. We could smell it cooking. It tasted and smelt delicious. 

Rocky Shore Visit

What a wonderful time Room 11 had exploring the rocky shore!! We found so many creatures living there. We loved using our eyes to observe the creatures and touch them gently. We had to make sure we put them back carefully so they could find their family again. Here are some photos of our day. Thank you to the parents who were able to share the day with us.
