Tent Day
Today Room 11 are very excited about our camping day at school. We started the day by preparing our potato for the fire. Yummy! Yummy! We washed the dirt off and wrapped them in tinfoil ready to be baked in the fire.

Jack and the Beanstalk

Yesterday we read the fairytale Jack and the Beanstalk. The children in Room 11 and 12 decided it would be a great idea to grow our own beanstalks. Mrs Fritchley found some magic bean seeds. Today we planted them in our own little pot, we filled out pot with soil and used our finger to measure a hole to drop the seed in. When we came back to Room 11 we added our castles to our pots. We wondered how long will our seeds take to grow and would they grow up to the castles?

Repeating Patterns

We have been learning about repeating patterns in maths. Today we worked with a buddy to make a repeating pattern using two different shapes. We  had to read the patterns out to the class. Can you read the patterns we made?

Positional Language

Room 11 have been learning the language of position. On, under, through, behind, beside, between, in front of. Here are some photos of us in the playground. See if you can describe where the children are in the playground.
